Hello, everyone! It's owl.

I'm writing this because it's Friday and as promised, I have some exciting news for you guys.

First off, the Nightmare Prince's route has officially passed 25k, meaning we're halfway done with the projected length of his route as far as writing is concerned! I've been thinking about starting Victor's route so I could have a piece of him to share for the extended demo vs, just showing a piece of TNP's route. I'm not sure to be honest.

Secondly, I'm still waiting for the funds to pop up into my account, but I decided to go ahead and commission the first of the Kickstarter prizes. That would be the photocards options! If you're at Worker Bee Android ($45) tier and up, you'll receive the full set of all five of them. However, if you're at the Machine ($35) tier, you'll get a random drawing of two!

What's on it, you ask? A selfie illustration of the characters of Belle Automata with each character's signature! Here's a preview of Aureve's!

Moving on, I do have a few announcements.

Announcement #1. If you pledged Worker Bee Android tier and up, you'll receive a special set of adorable chibi stickers! I'll also be choosing 20 random backers from the lower tiers to receive the sticker sets as well!

Announcement #2. I'm currently in the process of setting up BackerKit. If there's any rewards you missed that you'd like to grab, you can feel free to do so via BackerKit! As soon as I receive the funds from Kickstarter, you guys should receive your surveys. I reached out to a few of you directly, so sorry in advance for the duplicate survey that you'll receive.

Announcement #3. I've received some questions about the PayPal link for those who have not pledged and how long it'll be available. Actually though, I cannot edit the KS main page once the campaign ends, so the PayPal link will be up indefinitely. That said, I have a spreadsheet for PayPal pledgers so you can still get your tiers rewards if you'd like to pledge late. Also, if you'd like to pledge via PayPal instead of BackerKit, let me know via DMs!

FULLY FUNDED IN THE LAST HOUR?!

Hello, everyone!

This is owl. I apologize for such a late update after the obvious but I sat here unable to figure out what to say because I'd only prepared a statement for if we lost, not if we funded. So, not much to say in this update aside from the obvious--THANKS TO YOU WE FUNDED, Y'ALL! I'm so amazed and unprepared that I didn't prepare a statement so I'm typing this with emotions flying high.

So, what's next?

First, I have  to collect the funds. That takes about two weeks. In the meantime, I'll be working on the Nightmare Prince's route! It's already at a balmy 21,000+ words. I paused writing for the duration of the campaign because, simply put, Kickstarters are insanely stressful! I intend on finishing TNP's route by February and voice recording by March.

I can't wait for the full context of this scene to be played through by all of you.

In any case...

Because none of the big backer tiers were pledged, I only have to order the photocards and posters for physicals. I'll be looking for an artist for the photocards so keep an eye out for updates on that!

The posters will be ordered as soon as I receive the funds.

Also, I just want to again thank every single person of the 278 of you who backed this project and believed in me. I will be working VERY hard and update you guys every single Friday until the game's initial release!

Thank you so much for those who have shown support. Whether we make it or not, I hope you love these characters and that they'll be memorable when Belle Automata is eventually released.
